Brighton Center for Recovery, located in Brighton MI, is the second oldest drug and alcohol treatment center in the country. Many of our patients seeking help come from Metro Detroit as well as Ann Arbor, Lansing, Flint and the surrounding areas. However, we often see patients from Chicago, Columbus, Toledo, Cleveland, Cincinnati and other locations surrounding the Great Lakes, including Canada. Brighton Center for Recovery is located at 12851 Grand River Rd, Brighton, MI. Our location is about five miles (nine minutes) east of downtown Brighton, MI and just 39 miles (36 minutes) northwest of Detroit Metro Airport.
Westbound I-96 (from Detroit) Exit Kensington Rd (exit 151), keep right at the fork to go on Kensington Rd, turn right on Grand River. Brighton Center for Recovery will be the first drive on your right. If you reach Ford Ct, you have gone too far.
Eastbound I-96 (from Lansing) Exit Kensington Rd (exit 151), turn left onto Kensington Rd travel south to Grand River (traffic signal) turn right onto Grand River. Brighton Center for Recovery will be the first drive on your right (just past the cemetery).

To reach Brighton Center for Recovery from Detroit Metro Airport, take Merriman Rd to I-94 West (toward Chicago). Take exit 194 to merge onto I-275 North (toward Flint). Exit onto I-96 West (toward Lansing). Take exit 151 for Kensington Rd, turn right at Kensington Rd, next turn right at Grand River Rd. Brighton Center for Recovery is located less than a quarter mile on the right side of Grand River.
